thanksgiving 09 las vegas

we got to waterski, shop for christmas and hang out with some of todd's awesome family in the 65-70 degree weather. thanksgiving day the water was glass so even i put on a dry suit and got out there. who could ask for a better thanksgiving?!

silly sailor

sailor has this chair thing where she just loves to have me set her in a chair. so while i was packing for our thanksgiving vacation, i got sailor up from her nap and she points to the chair. i sat her in it and i came back in her room about 3 minutes later and she was still sitting, relaxed, slouched back in the chair looking at her books.

it was one of those moments i had to run for the camera, but missed the funniest candid shot. from her messy room, messed up hair, onesie, and her booties still on from probably before her nap, i just had to laugh at my messy mothering skills and capture the moment.

you just gotta love her!

New Moon

my New Moon feelings are this: kinda slow and lacking of character's personality just like the books (i only made it to the middle of the third, whatever that one is called) BUT, there's a scene when the wolves are running thru the forest, chasing a vampire with what sounds like radiohead playing (i'm too lazy to google it) that make it totally worth seeing it in the theatre.... if you can get through edward's painful facial expressions without "vomiting a little in your mouth"- todd's words.

happy 2nd anniversary to us

today i took a some time to remember the day it all began for todd and i.  having sailor so quickly, i never really relaxed and reflected on the beauty of that day.

i'm so grateful to my mom for helping me plan the wedding of my dreams.



even if they're told, i don't think anyone ever realizes after all of that planning and waiting for the wedding, what is in store for them after the honeymoon... the good and the bad.  all the more reason, after two years, i can say i am so lucky or blessed that i married todd.  i couldn't be married to anybody else. if anything ever happens to him, i'll go it alone. he is it for me.  forever.

park city

last weekend we went up to park city for a little over nighter. we had the best time. it was a beautiful, sunny weekend. it reminded me of living up there the first few months we were married. i cant wait to get up there in the snow to ski this year!
